Zen Hang
A weekly meetup to talk about practice (and life!) every Friday after the 15 minute sit, from 12:15-12:45-ish MST . Bring a question or topic about meditation or life and hear from others about their experiences.
Come for the 15 minute meditation at 12pm MST on Fridays and stay for the conversation afterward, or join shortly after 12:15pm MST for the hang - either way, all are welcome!

Book Group
Next Meeting: Wednesday, February 4th 6:00-7:30pm MST
Explore the writings of Buddhist teachers with other sangha members and deepen your practice and understanding. BYO tea and snacks over zoom.
We are currently reading Opening the Hand of Thought. For this second discussion, please read Chapter 3: "The Reality of Zazen" and Chapter 4: "The World of Intensive Practice."
The book is out of stock in many places but available through used booksellers and as an ebook and on Kindle. Some folks found a copy through the Buddhist Churches of America bookstore. You can also find a downloadable pdf online here, if you're not able to purchase a physical copy

Sept 10, Oct 10, Nov 8, Dec 8Join in a short reading followed by a 20-minute Meditation with the Earth each month on the Full Moon (12pm MST) and New Moon (7pm MST) followed by short period of sharing and connecting at the end.
We suggest meditating outside to connect more deeply with the Earth and the elements, if you are able, or, if inside, face toward window or with natural objects in your space. Sitting in stillness and silence in relationship with the Earth and the Moon, we honor the oneness and interconnectedness of all life.
